New to Grow a Garden 2 on Roblox? This is the fastest path from your first seed to a garden that keeps earning while you play.

1. Redeem the code first

Before anything else, claim the active code TEAMGREENBEAN for 3 Green Bean seeds — a free early boost. Open the in-game Settings (the cog at the top of the screen), paste the code, and press Claim. See the codes page for the current list and how to redeem.

2. Plant, water, harvest, sell

You begin with a small plot and a handful of starting Sheckles. Buy the cheapest seeds from the rotating seed shop, plant them, water them, and wait for the grow timer. Harvest, sell, and repeat — multi-harvest crops keep producing after the first pick, so they earn more over time.

3. Reinvest into better seeds

Put your early profit back into higher-rarity seeds and check the crops database to compare sell value against grow time. The goal early on is the best Sheckles-per-minute you can afford, not the most expensive crop.

4. Add gear, pets, and mutations

Once Sheckles are flowing, pick up gear like sprinklers to speed up growth, and hatch eggs for pets that boost your garden. Watch for mutations, which multiply a crop's value — they're where the big payouts come from.

5. Attack and defend

Other players can steal ripe crops from your garden. Read the defense guide to protect your plot, and the stealing guide to raid others when your own garden is safe.

Tip

Harvest on time. Crops left sitting are the easiest target for thieves, and a full plot can't grow anything new. Use the calculator to plan which crop gives the best return for the time you'll be away.
